This on-line information session, featuring area pediatricians Tina Feeley and Julie Jankelson and moderated by CCC parent and Board member and Concord Family Network President Shannon Sweeney, will answer parents' questions about the impending young pediatric COVID-19 vaccines. Please register by Monday, June 20, to receive the Zoom link for the event and to submit your questions about the vaccines for the doctors to answer during the webinar.  

Participant bios:

Tina Feeley, MD, MPH received her undergraduate degree from Boston College, has a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice, and her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Feeley completed her Pediatric Residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School and served as Staff Pediatrician at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA and is a board certified pediatrician, currently practicing at Chestnut Hill Pediatrics. She has extensive experience training pediatric residents and led an initiative to decrease the spread of infections between hospitalized patients. Dr. Feeley currently lives in Westwood, MA with her two daughters, aged four and one, and enjoys snowboarding and cheering on the Boston College Eagles football team.

Julie Jankelson, MD, received her undergraduate degree from Goucher College and her medical degree from Tufts University. She completed her residency at New England Medical Center and is a board certified pediatrician currently practicing at the Concord Office at Harvard Vanguard, where she has been since 2001. During her free time she enjoys reading, cooking for friends and family, and being bossed around by her three small dogs.

Shannon Sweeney, Ph.D., MPH (moderator), received her undergraduate degree from Colgate University, has a Master's in Public Health from The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice at Dartmouth College and a Ph.D. in Planning and Public Policy from The Bloustein School at Rutgers University, with an emphasis in public health. She was a Research Associate in the Department of Family Medicine and an Instructor of Epidemiology at Rutgers and is currently a Senior Research Associate and Project Manager at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) in the Department of Family Medicine. She works on a range of mixed methods family medicine and public health projects remotely from Concord. Shannon enjoys running, tennis and playing with her two daughters, ages 3.5 and 1.5, who attend Concord Children's Center. She is also the President of Concord Family Network
