Tuition at CCC is already high — why do you ask for donations?

Tuition at CCC is not cheap. The same things that make the CCC experience so special for our children – two lead teachers in each classroom, lovely outdoor play spaces, special programs – are also expensive. So, given that tuition is at the level that it is, why does CCC ask families for Annual Appeal donations on top of this? Believe it or not, even though tuition is high, it covers only about 90 percent of the cost to educate each child. The remainder―approximately $1,000 per student―comes from the Annual Appeal, the auction, grants, and other fundraisers.
