Concord Free Public Library Art Exhibit

Saturday, November 2nd, 2019

The excitement, joy and benefits of process-oriented art with young children was the subject of a special exhibit at the Concord Free Public Library in December 2019 featuring the artwork of Concord Children’s Center students. Each of our classrooms created a piece for this exhibit which addressed questions such as why is the process of art important for young children? What do children experience and learn in the process of creating art? What are the benefits of process-oriented art? The exhibit was on display in the Concord Free Public Library Main Art Gallery from December 1-30. A community-wide reception to celebrate the exhibit took place on Thursday, December 5.
