Friday, May 3rd, 2013SUZIE KORNBLUM, Executive Director, returned to CCC in August 2023 after serving as CCC’s Business Manager from 2010-2016 and a Board member from 2007-2010. Most recently, Suzie was the Director of Admissions at Tremont School. Prior to that, she was the Executive Director of Sudbury Extended Day, the Before and After School Care Program in Sudbury, MA. Suzie began her career as a classroom teacher in the early elementary grades. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Suzie earned her BA in History from Dartmouth College, with a minor in Education, and her MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. Two of her three sons attended CCC where they thrived.
MARCELA BEAN, Director of Personnel, joined CCC in 2007 as a teacher with our Emerson program. She moved to West Concord in 2008 where she taught four- and five-year olds until 2022 when she became Payroll/HR Coordinator. Marcela assumed her current role in 2025. She graduated from the University of Presov in Slovakia with a master's degree in education and earned an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Middlesex Community College.
RUTH BRUNEAU, Director of Training and Development, joined CCC in 2025 from the Chapel School in Nashua, NH, where she was the Director. Prior to that, Ruth worked for many years at Amherst Preschool, while at the same time teaching early childhood education courses at Nashua Community College. She received a bachelor's in Humanities from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1996 and a master's in early childhood education from The University of London Institute of Education in 2000.
EMILY D’ARCY, Enrollment Coordinator, joined CCC in 2014 after working for four years with preschoolers in Newton. She has worked with both infant/toddler and preschool groups at CCC. Emily received her undergraduate degree in English from University of Massachusetts, Amherst and her graduate degree from Lasell College in Early Childhood Education. She is an alum of Concord Children’s Center.
JENNIFER SAXE, Development & Outreach Coordinator, joined the CCC staff in 2011. She has worked in nonprofit fundraising since 2000 in the U.S. and Europe. Jennifer holds a M.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University, a B.A. in Soviet Studies from the University of Florida, and a certificate in nonprofit management and leadership from Boston University.
