2020 Report of Giving
CCC is pleased to publish our 2020 Report of Giving. This annual document details the support that we received from our community in the fiscal year just closed. As a nonprofit, CCC relies on the support of its community members to provide the best programs and resources for our students, ensure the long-term fiscal health of our school, and allow us to remain faithful to our mission.
If you have questions or comments about the Report, please contact CCC Executive Director Pat Nelson or Development Coordinator Jennifer Saxe.

Diversity and Young Children
At CCC, we celebrate our similarities and our differences. For young children, it starts with the simple observation that some of us love chocolate ice cream and others love strawberry. We read lots of books, listen to music from different cultures, and learn about different family traditions and celebrations. We celebrate our differences as a positive part of who we are! There are many children’s books that address the importance of acceptance, respect and how fortunate we are to have diversity among us.
Some children may be asking questions about the current protests and surrounding events. while others are too young to know what is happening. For those children asking questions, experts will say, follow the child’s lead. Let the child guide you as you understand what he/she is asking or might be anxious about. It is also important that we as adults understand our own feelings as we guide our own children. Children are very intuitive intuitive and take cues from us about how they should feel. Making children feel safe is always key in uncertain times, as we have all heard over and over.
May/June Newsletter
