Scheduling and Tuition
Concord Children’s Center offers very flexible scheduling to meet the needs of our families. We are open year-round, typically from 7 a.m.-6 p.m., depending on the enrollment needs of our families.
School Year Scheduling
During the school year, families can choose the schedule that works for them within the following guidelines:
- Children must attend a minimum of three mornings a week (four mornings a week for four and five year olds in their year before Kindergarten).
- Arrival times are 7:00, 7:30, 8:00 and 8:30 a.m.
- Pick-up times are 12:30, 1:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, 5:30 and 6 p.m.
- A child’s schedule must be the same each week.
Summer Scheduling
CCC’s summer program is for children enrolled in one of our school-year programs. Children entering CCC for the first time are able to make new friends and meet many of our teachers prior to the fall start of school. CCC’s summer program is offered in one-week sessions from the end of the regular school year in June through mid-August.
- Children must enroll for a minimum of four weeks
- Chosen weekly schedule is the same for each week enrolled
Tuition
As our flexible scheduling necessitates a flexible fee structure, we do not have a “one size fits all” approach to tuition. Our tuition consists of two parts:
- a four-hour morning block (8:30-12:30), AND
- additional hours per week which are billed by the hour, with the cost per hour going down with the more hours that the child has.
We offer a five percent discount for Concord Public Schools and Town of Concord employees and for siblings. For general information about our rates or to obtain rates for specific schedules, please contact CCC Enrollment Coordinator Emily D’Arcy.
Tuition Assistance
Since its founding, Concord Children’s Center has prioritized remaining accessible to all families, regardless of household income. Families in need of tuition assistance may apply for:
Concord Children’s Center is able to provide its own tuition assistance thanks to grants from the Concord-Carlisle Foundation, Eastern Bank, the Cambridge Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, and the Trinitarian Congregational Church, as well as our in-house fundraising efforts and operational funding earmarked for tuition assistance by our Board. This assistance is granted annually based upon available funding. Families wishing to be considered for CCC tuition assistance should complete our tuition assistance application and submit it together with the regular CCC application.
Families wishing to be considered for a Concord Area Preschool Association scholarship should complete the application and submit it to CAPA.
Families earning 50% or less of the state median Income can apply to the Department of Early Education and Care for a state voucher. If a family receives a voucher and CCC has space, we will accept the voucher. Vouchers for infant and toddler spaces may be limited. To apply for a voucher, visit the Department of Early Education and Care website.

We are closed for one week in August between our summer and school year programs for professional development. We close for major holidays and offer optional week programs during the weeks of Christmas and Concord Public School February and April breaks.

We encourage families considering enrolling their child at CCC to visit either or both of our sites. Please contact the CCC Enrollment Coordinator.
